Wonderful Christmastime

Robin. Robin said she was flexible.
That’s good.
This story is blue star, and revolves around Honey.

Christmas in Florida

I give you my 2011 Secret Santa story.
This story was written for my good friend, Pat
Pat gave me a couple of her personal Christmas
memories, and I tried to put them in this story.
This story takes place some ten to twelve years in
the future, is blue star, and may or may not be a part
of my Connections Universe. Merry Jixmas!

Síochána le haghaidh gach

This year I was blessed to draw Mal as my Secret Santa recipient.
If you know Mal, I’m sure you will recognize many of
the details in this story. If you haven’t had the pleasure
of knowing Mal, there are notes at the end of this story.
Summary: The Bob-Whites meet a new friend, help some
needy animals, and learn about a new-to-them way
to celebrate. This is my gift for the 2012 Secret Santa Exchange.

One Grand Gesture

Seven years ago, I “drew” Mary C as my Secret Santa giftee.
This year, I was thrilled to “draw” her again. Then, I was
worried. The story I wanted to write was a Honey and Brian story,
and who writes Honey and Brian better than Mary? I took a deep
breath and started. But some of my characters were being...difficult.
Brian insisted that all the Bob-Whites had to be older than I had
planned. Then, Tessa flat out refused to let me write Dan with
anyone else. So, I asked Mal to ask Mary if certain things were okay
with her. Fortunately, they were, and I was able to complete the story.
So, for 2013, I give you a story that highlights the fact that love
can be quiet or loud, as long as it is true.

Sicheran hafen fur Weihnachten
The first Jixemitri/Trixie Friend I ever really got to know in person was Vivian. I showed up on her doorstep when she was expecting child #2, and I count her as my friend, and as the Trixie friend I know the best. Drawing her to write for this year was a true pleasure. Vivian was interested in a story about family and/or friendship. She gave me some details to make the story more personalized, and off I went. I hope I succeeded in giving her something that she--and all of you--can enjoy as we bring 2014 to a close. The title translates roughly into Safe Harbor for Christmas, and isn’t that all any of us really needs?
Happy Holidays to each and every one of you.

Hard to Say
(Three Little Words)

This year, I was gifted with Julie, aka Jstar8. She gave me a lot of information from which to draw inspiration. The more I thought about it, the more Ben Riker came to mind. I started writing the basics, and Ben started whispering in my ear (which was actually kinda fun!). I gave in to him and made it all about him. He told me a few things about himself that I hadn’t realized. I love when that happens!
So, I give you the story of Ben Riker, reformed bad boy, oft abandoned only child, as he is thrust into the tumultuous and terrifying, wild and wonderful world of his girlfriend’s family Christmas--in Pittsburgh. Will our beloved Ben survive? Tune into my 2015 Secret Santa offering to the lovely Jstar8.
Happy Holiday Season to each and every one of us!

Random Tuesday
2016
This year, I drew Janice for my Secret Santa Story. Janice likes good food at holiday time, friendship stories, backstories, secondary/ supporting characters getting their moment in the sun and has read enough Christmas proposal stories to last her a long while. Put it together, and Random Tuesday was the result. I hope you enjoy this look at some secondary characters near and dear to my heart.

A Few Starry Eyed Dreamers
2017
This year I drew JuliaStOz. She likes Brian and Honey as a couple, the Bob Whites as lifelong friends, A Wonderful Life and Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas. This story is what I got when I combined those elements. I hope you enjoy it.
